Dance (All Styles)
“A dance photo is not a simple snapshot: it’s the door that leads us back to endless sensations, movements, soul-embracing environments.”
Grettel Morejon Grueiro, ballerina, Ballet Nacional de Cuba
It’s all about capturing a moment in time and space – however, even though it may appear so – it is never ‘still’!
For over three decades I have made my living photographing and filming mainly in the performing arts. I have been fortunate to work with luminaries and stars from many world-famous dance companies like The Bolshoi, the Royal Ballet, American Ballet Theater, Ballet Nacional de Cuba, Alvin Aliey and Martha Graham, Kirov Ballet – to name just a few.
Equally as rewarding is capturing street and other dance forms from countries and cultures around the world.
